Since its inception, Innovation Week has been growing in size and structure, fostering and spreading the culture of innovation among public agents in Brazil and around the world. The event fulfills its fundamental role of presenting trends and possibilities for transforming public organizations.
NEW WAYS OF CARING
With the theme "New Ways of Caring," the event – considered the largest public innovation event in Latin America – brought reflections on the development of public policies and innovations in government for the purpose of care. The program took place from October 29 to 31, with approximately 600 hours of programming and more than 400 activities dedicated to the theme.

The event covered topics such as artificial intelligence, inclusive management, and sustainability, bringing together renowned speakers and promoting workshops and practical sessions. The participation was remarkable, with thousands of public and private sector professionals, reinforcing the importance of innovation for government transformation.

The event aimed to foster the discussion of ideas, the exchange of experiences, and a more disruptive mindset in public administration. For the first time, the event was held in a hybrid format, with in-person activities in Brasília, Recife, and Rio de Janeiro, and exclusive, interactive online content. Additionally, it sought to promote and spread the culture of innovation among public agents and present trends and possibilities for the transformation of organizations.

The event aimed to foster the discussion of ideas, the exchange of experiences, and a more disruptive mindset in public administration. For the first time, the event was held in a hybrid format, with in-person activities in Brasília, Recife, and Rio de Janeiro, and exclusive, interactive online content. Additionally, it sought to promote and spread the culture of innovation among public agents and present trends and possibilities for the transformation of organizations.
DARE TO TRANSFORM
Innovation Week 2021 took place from November 9 to 12, with the theme Dare to Transform. The event was held remotely. In total, there were over 30,000 views (combining YouTube and Zoom over the 4 days of the event) and 142 institutions involved. The central debate focused on humanity's major agendas, discussing how innovation can address these issues, pointing out paths for possible transformations and calling for action. The event featured 300 hours of content and more than 250 online activities, pitches, and on-demand content. On the main stage, 29 national and international guests presented.

In 2020, Innovation Week, which was originally planned as another in-person edition, had to adapt its format due to the pandemic. The event was based on a digital interaction platform and streaming broadcasts, featuring various activity and connection spaces. There were about 500 hours of discussions, exchanges, and entertainment, with more than 450 speakers and 25,000 registrants. This edition took place from November 16 to 19 and consolidated the event as the largest innovation event in Latin America, as the hybrid format (blending in-person and online activities) greatly expanded the event's reach. The theme was "(Re)imagine and build futures," an invitation to rethink concepts and break paradigms, seeking solutions and answers to the challenges of public service.

With the theme "Government for the People," the fifth edition addressed topics such as user experience in the public sector, digital transformation, exponential technologies, evidence-based policy formulation, and artificial intelligence in public policies. The event took place from November 4 to 7, 2019, at the Serzedello Corrêa Institute, and brought together approximately 2,000 participants, with over 80 speakers. The program included various activities such as workshops, case sharing, practical sessions, roundtables, courses, and other attractions. The event was gamified, and the closing lecture featured best-selling author Yuval Harari.
